Easter Bunny, Meet Aunt Virginia

We’re cutting out the candy for the children this Easter for reasons that I won’t detail on this blog, but they’ll get a different kind of treat, one that will last longer and that they’ll enjoy more. I’d be shocked if Anthony or Elli ever read this blog — they hate my blogging and aren’t old enough to care about taxes — but I’ll keep the secret just in case. I will tell you what Kimberly paid in taxes for their furry treats: $3.62.

UPDATE: Kimberly also bought the book “Horton Hears A Who” for the Glover clan. They went to see the movie today, and she thought they would enjoy the book all the more now. Add 75 cents in sales taxes to the Easter tax bill.
